About me
Hello! My name is Carli Marshall, and I am a master’s candidate intern currently studying to receive my degree in Applied Clinical Psychology at Pennsylvania State University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies through West Chester University. Throughout my education, I have gained experience and knowledge on working with women, multicultural clients, and children. I have been a part of various research teams that enhanced my knowledge of different populations including pre-school aged children, adolescents with disordered eating, and members of underserved communities. I am passionate about working with couples, women, individuals with trauma, and LGBTQ+ individuals, but I am more than capable and eager to work with anyone. I am currently training to become an ADHD coach to better serve neurodiverse persons. What to Expect in Counseling I support clients in fostering healthier thought patterns and behaviors through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and use an emotional-focused approach when working with clients. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship to develop a treatment plan that tailor to your specific strengths. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel truly heard, valued, and respected. I am here for anyone seeking help on their journey, and I deeply appreciate the opportunity to work alongside you. |
